Challenge 20

Welcome to October Clarity crafters!

We had a slow start to our last challenge, but picked up pace as we went along.  I would think many of you were enjoying some rays of sun in far off places weren't you?

The Clarity team and Barbara have been busy this month with the Catterick Open Day and Ally Pally.  Did you visit either?

The lucky winner of the £50 Clarity voucher and our top 5 will be announced on Friday.  Will you be one of the lucky winners?

Here's the theme for our new challenge which will run throughout October:

The Seasons
(using Clarity stamps ONLY)

As we have just entered Autumn we thought a good challenge would be to focus on "The Seasons" and with four of them to choose from we hope to get a variety of projects.

Which month will get the highest entries do you think?

There is plenty of scope for ideas in this challenge but please let us know which season you are depicting when you enter.

You could win a £50 voucher if you are randomly selected as our winner at the end of the month and become our guest designer for the next challenge.

Good luck with the challenge!!

Here is a little bit of inspiration from the design team:

(Guest Designer - winner from challenge 18)

Originating from the London/Essex area, I now live in Inverness and run a guest house with my partner John who is a photographer.  The idea was to give us more time for our hobbies, but the reality is a little different!

I love all types of crafting (knitting, crochet, quilling, sewing, scrapbooking and card making) but stamping is my favourite vice!  I was first introduced to Clarity Stamps in a craft group in Barking (Essex), and then joined Barbara’s Project Club many years ago.  I attended one of the early Cowden workshops with my sister and was hooked.

One thing I miss since moving to the Highlands is that my crafty group of friends all still live in the south, so entering the Clarity Challenge has been an opportunity to share ideas and inspiration with a more distant group of fellow addicts.  I was really pleased to have my card chosen as the winner for last months challenge and to be invited as a guest designer for the October challenge.

I just love all the new ideas and tips that Barbaras daily blog is giving me and I’m now using the blending mat, inks, stencils and the gelli plate in addition to the stamps.  So many techniques, so little time...Susan x
